At St Patrick’s, we are lucky to have an incredible group of students that come from a wide variety of different cultural backgrounds.

From our South Sudanese to our Myanmar and Sikh communities plus many, many more, we are delighted to see the wonderful friendships and lifelong bonds that students make at our school.

We are a community of faith filled people, who hold dear the values of Respect, Safety, Co-operation and Resilience. We listen to the Christian story and discuss how these stories can relate to the issues being faced by our students today.

At St Patrick’s, we have a dedicated staff who support and encourage our students and each other. Working as a team, we see the value in combining our talents and efforts to ensure the students are our number one priority and who are developing a passion for learning and a desire to be a responsible and a hardworking member of society.

St Patrick’s offers Digie Tech, Performing Arts, Physical Education and Visual Arts. Our students learn Italian, which is part of a program called Teachers as Co-Learners. Here the classroom teachers teach the Italian language and about its culture every week. The school runs Speech programs with qualified speech pathologists and Education Support officers who are trained as Speech Therapy Assistants in working with children.

We run Literacy intervention programs and also offer Counselling and Psychological services free of charge to the parents. There are qualified staff in Student Wellbeing who are dedicated to the cause of working with children with additional needs as well as supporting the teachers and families in ensuring success for all.

Take care and God Bless,

Meg Escalante
Principal

We the children of St Patrick’s acknowledge the Kulin people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we learn and play. We pay respects to the Aboriginal Elders, past and present, who are our teachers. We thank them for taking care of children and Country for countless generations.
