Grade 2 Excursion
On Friday the 3rd of June we went to the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands. We went on a bus to the wetlands. We were happy and excited. When we got there we walked to the Bird Hide. We had bags and binoculars to look for animals that live in the wetlands. We saw different species of birds like lyrebirds, black swans and purple swamphens. After we finished we went to the Discovery Centre and learnt about different animals and water. We pressed on buttons to hear different animal noises and saw a fruit bat inside special water. After we did all that we went back on the bus back to school. We had an awesome and fun excursion.
