2ET has been learning about Australian landmarks in Geography this term.
We viewed Uluru on Google Maps and found out some interesting facts about this famous landmark. We then had a go at drawing Uluru.
- Uluru is the Aboriginal name for this rock.
- Uluru is 863m tall.
- The rock was created over 600 million years ago.
- Aborigines have lived there for about 10,000 years.
- The rock was originally at the bottom of a large ocean.
