Congratulations to Amity, Isabel, Faith, Lucas and Lachlan who represented St Patrick’s at the Pakenham District Swimming Carnival on Wednesday February 26th. The weather was hot - sunshine, cloudless blue sky and very little breeze! All students wore their uniform with pride, cheering and encouraging all competitors whilst overcoming their nerves. The day can be quite overwhelming for first time attendees and even seasoned swimmers.

Whilst the team did not qualify to progress to future events, all of the students were a wonderful asset to our school displaying our school values of resilience and courage in particular.

Lachlan 9/10yo Boys Backstroke - 3rd

Amity and Isabel 11yo Girls Backstroke - 1st in their respective heats

Amity 11yo Girls Freestyle -1st

Thank you to Mrs Bateson who helped out last year during the trials in preparation for this year’s District event, Mr Beswick who accompanied the students at the pool and to all parents who took time out of their busy schedules to transport their children to the event and support our team.
