Hello I’m Emily, one of the school captains. I was honoured to be invited to lay the wreath on behalf of St Patrick’s Primary School on ANZAC day at the Pakenham War Memorial dawn service.I was so nervous at first when we were about to walk up to lay the wreath down but once we did it I knew it was a morning to remember. Everyone, communities, businesses and schools all layed down wreaths and paid respect to the ANZACs. The ceremony was beautiful and I loved everything about it. I loved seeing the soldiers and people wearing the ANZAC medals in honor of the soldiers that fought in the war.
