Mother Mary Flowers - FKG Flora Tribute
Assumption of Mary.
On Friday 15th of August we celebrate the Assumption of Mary the Mother of Christ.
Our Foundation students have been learning about celebrations in the church.
We explored who Mother Mary was, why God chose Mary and what the word Assumption means.
Our students made colourful flowers to honor Mary, our Mother in Heaven. We then placed them around our sculpture of Mary outside the old church near the Avenue car line.
