This year's Book Week theme was Book an Adventure and that's exactly what our children experienced. Our celebration about books was held on Wednesday 20th August and there were many wonderful surprises. Our students went to great lengths to share with our school community some of their favourite story book characters. 

We began the day with a whole school parade in the morning where everyone, including our teaching staff, were able to show their costumes. Many families came along to watch our parade and we even had some of our future students parade with their brothers and sisters. The students then moved from the stadium to enjoy some activities in cross age groups throughout the school. There were 19 activities in action during the day where our students took part in engaging activities such as reading a procedural text and then making a lemon volcano to reading Spiro (one of the shortlisted books) and making a spider and a web. It was a day of collaboration and creativity. Thank you to all of our parents for all of your support in helping make this a great day for everyone.
