R U OK? Day Thursday 9th September
The staff put together a grid of mindfulness activities for your children to take part in on this day. The activities were designed to activate students creative and active side as well as move them away from the screen for the day. Students were also encouraged to use their imaginations and create some activities of their own.
We received many photos of students taking part in different activities. Yoga, drawing, bike riding, cooking, board games, football, soccer, fort building and even treasure hunts, just to name a few. We were glad to see lots of the photos coming in with lots of smiling faces.
Below is just a sample:

I drew while listening to music.
I went outside with my dad, played soccer with him, and went biking for 30 minutes.
I baked scones.
I did yoga but I couldn't take pictures because the camera couldn't capture my whole body.
I made a late birthday card for my friend. By Gabriella

The Children onsite were able to join in as well.
